Uplift.Art is donating 50% of proceeds from a recent discount promotion of an NFT art drop. The promotion has raised more than $25,000 for Haitian Roots to use to feed and educate children in Haiti. The donation will help fund the meal program at Haitian Roots academies, which feeds more than 400 students between two schools.
“We are committed to empowering, protecting and educating the children of Haiti,” said Chareyl Moyes of Ogden, Utah, founder and executive director of Haitian Roots. “Partnerships, such as the one we’ve developed with Uplift.Art are crucial to helping us in our fight against poverty in Haiti. The funds donated from the Uplift fundraiser will help provide nutrition and healthy living for our school children.”

Haitian Roots is dedicated to change Haiti’s future through education. While it takes only $300 to send a child to school each year, additional funds are needed to build and maintain schools, train and hire teachers and staff, support local orphanages and provide meals and counseling to each child. Haitian Roots uses 100% of donations for that purpose with no paid employees or executives. The funds donated from Uplift.Art will be a tremendous help in the fight against poverty in Haiti.
